RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

There are now multiple classes within the club to allow more camaraderie compared with the club's original rules. During most recreational games we will allow the first two classes into the mix. If there is an event that we label as class specific, then you are only allowed to play in that class range. The biggest reason for the allowance of multiple classes is due to the fact that I want to encourage pump play in all of it’s forms. The main thing that separates us from the rest of the world is rate of fire(i.e. pump vs. semi). With that being said, this seems to make us a bit more of a pump club now than a stock class club. But our real emphasis remains on skillfully efficient, high intensity, low-cost play.

GUNFIGHTER CLASS

This is the basis for the club’s origination and it’s PRIMARY CLASS. The distinguishing characteristics of the Gunfighter are the use of the 12-gram paintpistol and the motive for using it. The use of this type of equipment is to demonstrate the skillful use of movement, targeting and paintball conservation.

The equipment a Gunfighter uses is a pump or semi 12-gram paintmarker/pistol. It would not be just any single 12-gram-powered ‘gun.

A Gunfighter will limit him/herself to a ‘gun that holds no more than 20 balls max. (including the one in the breach). The marker may have an internal magazine with some sort of feed actuator (i.e. a spring fed clip on a semi-auto pistol).

A Gunfighter that uses a pump will not use their auto-trigger if their pump is capable of such a task.

No ‘six packs’. This is a little "old school" for some of you... If you know what those are, then you’ve been around awhile, if you don’t know, don’t worry about it.

Any type of sight is acceptable except for laser sights. Lasers are banned from paintball and are hazardous to the eyes.

And inspired by Damage INC., we will allow the use of soft-edged paintball/training knives for close quarters eliminations and extreme bragging rights!!! These will be field-sensitive and under the field owner's regulations. (added 10/08)

RIFLEMAN CLASS

The club’s SECONDARY CLASS has been added to allow for more pump players to join in. This is basically an allowance for open class pump. You will still be forced to focus on accuracy and not be allowed to ‘rip out the paint’. This is not a separate club, but a separate allowance in style of play.
The marker of a Rifleman Class Gunfighter must have a pump action.
You may have constant air.
You may have a hopper or stick/horizontal feed.
You may never auto-trigger. (No hosing, slopshot!)
It will not have a pneumatic assist/electric assist pump.
It may be double barreled. (That sounds like naughty fun, eh?)

LOOSE CANNON CLASS

The third and most liberal class in the club is only allowed under very special circumstances. Unless circumstances create a need to do otherwise, the primary reason for LOOSE CANNON play is the BIG GAME/SCENARIO GAME format. The secondary reason and the only reason it will be allowed in recreational play is for the new player/young player.
The LOOSE CANNON class encompasses all other forms of field-legal paintball marker above and beyond the Gunfighter and Rifleman class. This includes all semis, whether mechanical or electric. Allowance for this will be very rare, but it is there to help accommodate players who are uncomfortable in certain situations or would like some extra kick in a Scenario/Big game.

"PLAY WITH HONOR AND ACCURACY!!!"
